Saturday Morning Notes

It's Saturday morning, FBS is 106.

So my train ride was uneventful, but when I got off of the train my phone wasn't reaching N's cell or home number, so I figured I'd have to just show up on their doorstep.  It was a few 20 minutes on the subway, and then a cab ride from the subway station to N's place.  There was a long line for taxis that weren't coming, so I walked out to the sundial and caught a cab before it made it to the taxi line.

On the way, a mom caught her daughter from dashing into the street in front of the cab.  The driver stomped on the break and said "wo kao!" which is the first time I've heard that word in the wild.

I made it to N's place, E was there, of course, and M.  We caught up over a glass of wine.  English was a little slow to come back to me, and I found myself swearing more than I like to.

I dreamt that N let me stay in a guest apartment, with green silk sheets arranged on the floor.  I dreamt that we got up and went shopping, and I helped them bargain
