Notes from the Train

So I'm sitting here on the bullet train to Shanghai again.

I have not yet blogged about A-ban Hua or our fascination with pandas.   Our teachers are catching on to our games, and I for one have made the academic decision to coast into the station.  I'll do my homework and everything, but I am not going to stress about the big final they are trying to scare us with.

After the test today, I went back to my room to hang out.   X is having cell phone drama, and by drama, I mean that his cell phone died on him.  Upsetting for anyone.  I told him when he went to get a new one, that I wanted to go with him, so I can buy a new phone for my sister.

He looked at me like I was crazy and then told me that he couldn't afford to buy a new one, so (Americans, brace yourselves) he is going to try to fix it; if he cannot fix it, he will try to get it fixed.

Maybe some of you are not shocked, but in my adult life, when my cell phone flickers a little I drop it right where I'm standing and then go buy a new one.
