Leap of Faith

I sent in my letter of resignation to my principal in Seattle earlier, and accepted the job in Shanghai.  I am at peace with the decision.

I am starting to get tired of all the salty food; I've also eaten an ice cream cone and a couple cups of pop.  Maybe my blood sugar shoots up immediately afterward (I haven't checked) but later it goes back to normal.  I will not make a habit of it.

On Sunday I studied for most of the day.  It started to cool off.  We wrote our skit, not the way I would have written it, but it will be ok.  Today was a relatively cool day, no gross sweating episodes, Tai Chi outside in the wind.  When to the Starbucks on the West Lake to study.

Time to go to bed now, roommate is trying to sleep!

Oh! Congratulations!

Wow. That's a big move. A different country, a country whose language you're still learning. Brave! I see Public Transit Man has other superpowers as well.

Well, I for one am pissed. I have zero plans to travel to Shanghai (because I hate Asian people, you know), and now we won't be able to hang out together ever again.

Can I squat in your house. Not like rice picking squat. I mean squatting like transients in vacant buildings.

Dammit, JP, what are we going to do at association meetings without you?

I'm looking forward to many stories, Mr. World-Traveling Teacher, sir.
