Dear Chinese people,

You are so kind to talk to me and teach me your language. I enjoy hearing your different regional accents and your colorful expressions.

Hey listen, when you teach me a new word just let me run with it. Don't teach me five more freaking synomyms. When you teach me six different options, I am sure to forget every single one.

Do you hear me?

One word, and let me run with it. Teach me the synonyms some other time.

The same with grammar; once you teach me a construction, DO NOT immediately drill me on a different way to phrase it. Do you hear me? DON'T.
