I take my camera to class

I wanted to take a picture of this stray puppy I saw, frolicking in the grass, but then when it notcied me, it came right over and smelled my toes. Very friendly, probably too small to eat just yet.

These people are digging a ditch. Or digging out a tree. Not quite sure.

This was my lunch at the student cantina. At 3 o'clock there is chicken with garlic shoots, at 6 o'clock is cucumbers, at 9 o'clock is the pickly briny greens I'm growing to like a lot. In the bowl there's an almost sweet dessert with lychee and other Chinese fruits I'm not really familiar with, served as a cool soup.

Have you all figured out yet that in order to make a title, you have to click on the actual word "Title:"? I took me a while. It also took me a while to figure out the even-floors only and odd-floors only elevators. Basically, you get on any elevator, but if the elevator doesn't want to take you there, you press the button for your floor plus one; and then when you get off you walk down one flight of stairs. Haven't figured out how this system helps anyone.

Still no cell phone. Taijiquan class starts today after my one-on-one. Bush teeth! Go study!

That puppy is cute. I hope you don't eat it!

What title?

Ah, but puppy is so tender! Probably more tender than chicken.

JP, I've been enjoying all your posts from China. Glad you're sharing so many little details!
